With a rich history in the film and computer industries PeaceHawks™ was founded in 1976 by Jim Graniela. Working as a Director of Photography, in NABET-15 and IASTE Local 644, Jim was attracted by two visonaries, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates who, still forming their ideas, started the personal computing industries. Glued to the unfolding events within desktop computing Jim was and is at the leading edge of the video and computer metamorphosis.

- Introduced Adobe to CosaEffects who bought the product and AfterEffects was born
- Introduced Korean TV Broadcasting Association to desktop editing
