A native New Yorker and veteran filmmaker, John Corso possesses thirty years of entertainment industry experience with achievements on major motion pictures, TV programs, TV commercials, documentaries, music videos, and screenplays as an Executive, Producer, Director, Cinematographer and Author. John is the founder and chief executive officer of Winged Victory Films. The company’s mission is to produce high quality motion picture and TV programs for world-wide distribution. Based in New York, the company is active in film and TV production and is developing strategic alliances with major entertainment industry entities, talent and financial entities for the production and distribution of its projects. Formerly, a Cinematographer of worldwide reputation, John was one of the original pioneers in the unique art of Steadicam® Cinematography under the tutelage of its Oscar®-winning inventor. His work received praise from the Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times. Notably, and perhaps, one of the youngest cinematographers to be accepted into membership into the Cinematographer's Guild as a Director of Photography, John achieved substantial feature credentials in his early twenties.
