A Little History
PeaceHawks® is a diversified company providing software development, computer consultation and video production and web design since the 1980’s. Always on the forefront of innovations in both industries PeaceHawks™ is a developer with Apple Computer and Microsoft since 1984. In 1986 PeaceHawks™ developed an accounting product entitled “Entrepreneur™” and “LaserBid™” a bidding system for TV commercial and feature film production that reproduced the AICP (Association of Commercial Producers) paper bidding system exactly. As the first to develop this software PeaceHawks™ still leads the industry on this essential product. These software products are used by us and a number of production houses as well as advertising companies providing that extra competitive edge.
PeaceHawks™ with over 27 years of experience integrating new software, new technologies, networks & custom designing Web sites we have fun fulfilling our client's visions. Our clients range from small businesses to "Fortune 500" companies. We provide service with a personal touch.
On the video end PeaceHawks™ equipped itself with cutting edge video post production equipment both in hardware and software with editing stations and graphic workstations. Additionally we have sound, lighting and camera equipment. At the present time PeaceHawks™ is working from a facility provided by Mr. Graniela. We have plans to move to new quarters as our needs arise. In our current setting we can edit any length video providing graphics, animation, special effects and audio needed by most projects. Through the past 14 years we have subsidized out of pocket the services for our not for profit clients that they could not afford. For Casita Maria, on Simpson street in the Bronx, and 2 satellite centers in Manhattan, we designed the electrical service to the rooms, including their layouts, to the design of the computer hardware, software and networks. We purchase and installed two adult and two children’s computer centers consisting of 52 computers both Apple and IBM networking the machines locally and remotely. We made it possible for their management to monitor and exchange vital informational forms and such from their offices in the Bronx obviating the need for duplicate staffs. This was accomplished for a nominal cost and within their needed time frame meeting Casita Maria’s demand. PeaceHawks® received about $4,000, for a year and half of effort and a $62,000 charitable deduction. The children, young adults and seniors at Casita Maria are now equipped to be at the cutting edge of technology and enjoy the benefits of the new learning centers that enhance their lives and offers them greater opportunities in their future endeavors.Back to top
